At Bare Dance YYC, we offer programs that empower dancers ages 16 and up to grow, perform, and create. Our company is built for artists who are ready to take their training and creativity to the next level, whether that means refining technique, performing on stage, exploring work on camera, or stepping into the role of choreographer.
We believe in cultivating a supportive, professional environment where dancers and choreographers alike can challenge themselves, tell powerful stories, and build a portfolio that extends beyond the studio. FULL YEAR
COMPANY MEMBERSHIP
Our full-year company members have access to everything BARE Dance offers.
Members attend company training classes, perform in our annual January live show, take part in our summer video project, and participate in photoshoots, video shoots, plus any special projects that arise throughout the season. This program is perfect for dancers ready to perform live, create on camera, and build a professional portfolio while staying fully immersed in the company!

FALL/WINTER
COMPANY MEMBERSHIP
The Fall/Winter Membership gives dancers access to all the benefits of company membership during the first half of the season, with the highlight being our annual January stage performance. Members also participate in company classes, photoshoots, video projects, and any special projects that arise, gaining training, performance experience, and professional portfolio materials. This program is ideal for dancers who want a focused, performance-driven experience without committing to the full season.

SPRING/SUMMER
COMPANY MEMBERSHIP
The Spring/Summer Membership gives dancers access to all company perks during the second half of the season, with the highlight being our large-scale summer video project. Members also participate in company classes, photoshoots, and any special projects that arise, gaining training, on-camera experience, and professional portfolio development. This program is ideal for dancers who want a creative, project-focused experience without the commitment of the full season.

COMPANY CLASS TOKEN AND ATTENDANCE POLICY
All BARE Dance YYC company members participate in company classes using a rolling token system designed to encourage accountability and fair access.
CLASS TOKEN SYSTEM

Each registered company member is issued one class token.

A valid token is required to attend a company class.

Upon attending a class, the dancer will receive their next class token for the following class.

If a dancer does not attend a registered class or cancels within 24 hours of the class start time, the token is forfeited.

To attend the next class after a forfeited token, the dancer must purchase a replacement token.
Replacement token fee of $20 apply in the case of no-shows or late cancellations.
Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Company Directors.
MONTHLY ATTENDANCE REQUIRMENTS

All company members are expected to attend a minimum of one company class per month.

This standard supports ongoing training, artistic consistency, and company cohesion.
Members who do not meet the monthly attendance requirement may be placed on probation or removed from the company at the discretion of the Company Directors.
